Hello from Texas

Hello.

I am new to the skoolie community. I am looking forward to buying my bus and converting it. Trying to find good sources to use for these first timer. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard - you've come to the right place. I started looking around here reading about other's experiences and the many opinions from different members. Ended up buying my first bus a couple weeks ago. I'm still stripping it out, but furiously reading and filtering through the information to find out what is the best way to build for me.
Some things are absolute do's or don'ts, and others are more a matter of preference and budget.

Welcome, fellow Texan! Where are ya from?

Just got my bus on friday, and already starting to gut it.
A good place to search for texas buses is renebates.com. a lot of texas school districts put their buses up for sale on there

Howdy from Houston! --- There are a number of Tejanos here. What part of the state?

Texas! Over in Arlington right now. Stay here and learn as much as you can. I didn't know anything about buses at first except I wanted one! I've learned so much from this group and just drove the bus home yesterday!

My wife and I are coming to Houston this week. Any chance you would have a spot for us to park for a week?

Welcome. Do you have a particular bus in mind as a starting point?
Plenty of information to be found on this site including things you haven't even considered yet.
Good luck. Be sure to post updates when you finally decide and start building.
