Hello from the other side!

Hello everyone!

Great to be with you, i am writing you from sweden.
This is my latest project, a ford Transit shoolbus/taxi.
I got the bus in may 2015, i got it from a buscompany in stockholm.
In Stockholm they can only use buses and sell services to the city, with vehicles that
are up to 7 years old.
I have only worked with junk before so this was a step up for me.
And the people who don't like ford may think othervice.

My last bus was a Mercedes O309 1967, that run as schoolbus i Älvkarleby.
I bought it 2004 and did alot of work during 4 years, roof lift engine swaps (5), and converted
it to a mobile home, this served me as a home for 2,5 years and i drove through europe and stayed in germany, switzerland, france, spain portugal, luxemburg.
Unfortunaltely i crashed it and it was beyond repair.

So i thought i could root, started a coffee roastery and worked the land with freeranging animals.
One day a friend drove up on my driveway with a caravan chassie and told me he was going
rubber, i shrugged and told him i had quit with tramping and was house people.
But i was wrong, the bug was in me and i bought a small toyota hiace and me and my sons
went roadtripping in south of sweden, 6000km in two months.
The engine sits under the seats so it gets hot inside, i started to look for ways to keep cool.
It was no real good way and working against construction seemed stupid, plus the bus was small really small...

I sold it and bought the bus i am working on now, The ford.

Well, a small intro of me and my project.

Aron

Hi somewhere.

I put up some pictures in album ford transit solar, i haven't been taking so much pics, i will update as i go along, i am planning to leap over the waters eventually, either to us and see your country and then go south, or go directly south to south america.
We have three years until my youngest son starts school.
