Smile Hello from Virginia

Hey everyone. I have been "browsing" the boards for about a year as I was dreaming of building a skoolie. It took almost a year to convince my wife to allow me to even purchase one. Well.... we bought our bus yesterday and couldn't be more excited! We ended up getting a 78 passenger 2002 International with the T444E/Allison 3060 combo. Looking forward to getting started on the demo and build.

You have come to the right place. There is a wealth of knowledge among the members here .

Best wishes for your build. We look forward to pictures.

Welcome Pastor Rob

Building a Holy Roller huh? It's a great project. What kind of build out are you planning?

Getting Started

Thanks for the welcome. I have been so stoked about getting started that I have already gotten 95% of the seats out. Angle grinder was a bit tedious, but got the job done. I have one emergency exit seat left that I need to actually remove the bolts for as the brackets make it too difficult to get to the heads with the grinder.

I am planning to build a master bedroom & four bunks. We have 5 children so will need the sleeping space. I will also put in a bathroom with composting toilet and a kitchen / living room area. So many great ideas on the site here and the possibilities are almost endless.
