Hello :-) Is there a good forum for Cargo Trailer Conversions?

Hi,

New here and looking at one of two paths to build out an inexpensive, better built than commercial, RV for pleasure - for family of 4. Is there a good forum (as rich in information) for Cargo Trailer Conversions that anyone can recommend?

I'm m *really* bitten with going the Skoolie route - but want to make sure to do my due diligence. The other viable path is doing a Cargo Trailer conversion - so I though if there were a forum I'd dig in there for a bit as well.

Thanks!

-Calvin

You’ll find some action looking for horse trailer conversions. Don’t know of a forum, but you’ll get ideas.

Some of the Van Life folks are also into cargo trailers. Hey that’s me. Well I’ve got a 2 buses , a van, 2 Motorhomes, and a cargo trailer. Sold the horse trailer but considered converting that too.

Try this site:
Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers • Index page
Many great resources, like here. Just focused on trailer conversions. I still use that site for its knowledge base on many things. I was going to do a trailer, but finally decided to do a step van instead. If you go to that sight, I highly suggest checking out the build OTTTB(over the top trailer build). The finish and looks of his set up are amazing. He was one of the 1st people to run mini-split heat/air of solar for more that 3 days of scarce sunlight to charge from. BUT his pocket book is as envious as is his conversion. You have been warned

I know where a pair of cargo trailers can be had for free in the Philly area.
