Hello new fam

I just joined after browsing for a while. I have been considering traveling for a while in an RV but within the last year or so started to think a skoolie might be more my thing. First, I like to build things. I am not very artiistic or creative but I am handy and I think building would be rewarding. My wife and I are thinking that in a year or two we can head out. Our youngest is 18 now and about to go to college so we are trying to plan when to roll out based on that.

I am a retired military guy, then commercial pilot, then police officer, then flight instructor, now deputy sheriff. Maybe going back to flying at some point if I find a good paying gig that works for me.

Not sure what else to say, but HELLO!!!

Roger Wilco friend! I wanted to go the civilian commercial pilot route, but lost steam with a sub-par flight school.. I'd love to pick it up again, though! I think I've seen a few members say they have licenses which is cool. When you get a chance, fill in your profile info with whatever you're comfortable with. You may not have a bus yet, but you could give us your general area or city etc. Welcome aboard!
