Hey Y'all! From SC

Hi there,
We are a married couple in our mid/late 30's, looking to turn a bus into a tiny home on wheels. Currently trapped in the hamster wheel of corporate America and hating it. Looking to hit the road and hopefully make a living along the way as musicians.

Looking for info right now, as we are planning on making the big purchase after the 1st of the year. We are both pretty handy/diy types of people, but by no means do we have extensive mechanical experience. Changing tires, break pads, break lines, belts, etc. in our cars...no problem. Beyond that...no idea.

Having said that, hopefully we can gain some insight as to what to look for in a bus and how to best go about our decisions in that regard. The conversion is not as challenging for us, as he has a lot of experience with plumbing/electrical and construction. Well, I say that now, but we'll see how it goes once we get started!

So, a big hello from South Carolina! We are looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing our experiences!

Well Howdy Guys & Gals! --- You hit the jackpot for info on building what you describe. Read as many build threads as possible and get a fix on what will work for you and your personal dream. Then...dive in. We were all Newbies at this stuff at some point.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Tango! Comforting to know that most here were newbies at some point. There is SO much info and so many great looking projects on here. Glad we found the place!

Welcome.

Best way to meet and get to know us all, is to read every build thread in the build thread section.

Every bus built shows the character, personality and skill of the builder.

I love the build thread section. I read every build posted on this site.
