Awesome!

Where are you located?
I agree; for the price of a couple months rent we get a home. A sweet mobile home.

Thanks! I was originally looking for a rear engine flatnose........but after seeing a FE setup......felt it makes more sense........more room in bedrooom which will be located in back with a rear door(plan to build porch around bus)and the bathroom n water tanks will be over the rear axle.......so the F n R weight distribution........that leaves living room n kitchen towards front. Yes the FE has a driveshaft........but after looking underneath storage still wont be an issue on a 35' bus.

Just picked her up and got her home. $2200. 35 foot 97 Amtran w dt466/at545 combo.....150k on odometer.........needs some body dent work n rust repair but i think for up here was a decent deal.......frame itself is super clean.......solid tires n air brakes.

You're a new member, have to make a few posts before it'll let you upload pics.

5 or ten, I think. Might seem silly, until you realize the reason for it - cuts down on bots and spammers.

I set out to buy a RE bus, but came to the same conclusions as you.
I love my FE, and my rear door.

And how the heck do you close the air door from outside and lock this sucker up at night? I have to switch the air actuator to manual and physically close the door, and cant get it shut all the way, lol.

Same bus I have. They're the cream of the FE crop, IMO.
