Howdy from Texas!

My husband and I just purchased a 1972 Thomas Built Loadstar 1600 35’ bus for conversion. We are musicians and want to have a home we can move to different cities or to use while touring - wherever gigs take us!

Timeline goal is about a year - plan to use salvage, secondhand or free material as much as possible.... artists’ budget on this project!

This is our first bus conversion project, so doing lots of research and welcoming input. I am excited to join this community for the advice and experience. Thanks y’all!

Here is my 68 International Loadstar that my dad built back in 1980. Its about 30' overall length. Other than the 40 year old paint job its still going strong. Good luck with your project!
