Hughestribe from WNC loves advice

My first forum...ever! We are a family of 6 converting our '91 Blue Bird to be used as a Tumble Bus 9 months out of the year and a family Adventure Bus for the other 3. Plenty of challenges, as you can imagine...how to create a plan for easy and quick change from work bus to play bus, what flooring to use, what the heck to put on the ceiling and side walls...those are the most current questions. This is our 2nd Tumble Bus so we know how to make that conversion, the questions really come into play as we try to create a multi purpose bus. I'd love any advice or ideas...We have pulled all the seats, floor, sub floor and currently we are grinding the rust in prep for POR 15. Excited about being a part of my first forum...!

Welcome to the forum! I had not heard of a tumble bus before. It looks like an interesting concept! Quick and easy conversion between tumbling and adventuring does sound like a bit of work. It looks like the tumble equipment is mostly free-standing and could easily be carried out leaving just the floor and walls behind. Maybe cargo control devices from the trucking industry could come in handy for securing removable RV modules. I'm thinking of E-track and L-track, in particular. A "Really Big Tailgate" like the one on the bus "Millicent" here might come in handy!
