I hope this is posting in the correct place! My introduction.

Hello y'all! My wife and I have been visiting this site often, before and after buying our skoolie. We've been working and working, researching and reading, and then working a little more. I'm sure you know the struggle. So far we've been pretty confident in what we should do now, what's next, and after that. Y'all have provided us so much information we're moving from one task to the next with relative ease.
Now we're at the point where we need to get a little more specific. So hello, my name is joe and my wife rachel. I look forward to posting more and being a part of the skoolie community. Here are some photos of our progress so far..

I like your bus it's the perfect size I have a Thomas body now it's kind of short inside but I used to have an old Bluebird that was the best but it was old. You're going to have an awesome Skoolie I just had some cabinets made so I'm going to show you. I started out with just a plywood base, hand framed with a Menards 8-foot countertop with an old RV sink and an old RV stove. All the openings were just wide open to the floor, now we can actually use the space and we added the 8 ft upper.

Thanks so much for the responses!! The last picture actually shows the two boards that we returned.. they were too thin and our "floor joists" were spread out too far. We had to take up what we did and put in extra framing for support and thicker, tongue and groove subfloor. Now we GOOD. And bus is at the mechanic for a checkup.
@milkmanchip that's a super good kitchen you got there!! I'd like to do something similar, it's just gonna take a really long time. I'm pretty handy, but not as handy as a lot of folks on here.
Thanks again!
