I made the jump!

Hi, All
My name is Dave, and I guess I'm a skoolie. I've been looking around for a while, and today I picked up a 1982 Carpenter 7 window bus on a Ford B600 chassis with the 8.2l diesel.
Not 100% sure if I'm going full RV with it, or something like a party bus for road trips, and still stay in hotels at night. It's me and my brother, who is a full time wheelchair user, and 3 teenagers. We've outgrown the Sprinter I currently drive.
The first job is putting a lift in, and some nicer seating. I'm thinking maybe theater seats. A head and kitchen might be next.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, and tell you guys you've already been a great help in.my research.

I have a 1991 Carpenter 7 window!!

theatre seats are great... another forum member has them.. I hsave gotten some but havent yet installed them in my bus.. they are nice esp if you want to drop air mattress on the floor or such.. your seats fold up..

I travel all over in my bus and still sleep in hotels.. I use it for a Mobile software / hardware DEV lab... and also as a party bus.. people Love to ride it.

I'm in Southern California. I'll probably find one locally. They weigh 300+ lbs, so shipping is prohibitive.

Shouldn't have a problem finding one with a few rings to some school yards. Welcome by the way
