Just Getting Started & Saying Hello

My wife and I are in the beginning stages of transitioning to living in a bus/RV full-time. We purchased a 2002 Glaval shuttle bus (Ford E450 7.3L Diesel) a few months ago. The plan is to tow a travel trailer with the bus.

We are working on the bus conversion now. The bus will be a comfortable tow vehicle with sleeping capabilities and a compost toilet.

You can learn more about us and see photos of the bus conversion at adventurouswanderers.com.

I am looking forward to plugging into the Skoolie community. I'm certain I will be seeking advice from you along the way.

Greg

We used to have a cabin on a little land in/outside of Murphy. And my great grandma's place was in Franklin.
I remember catching crawdads all summer up there when I was a kid.

Welcome to the forum, you seem like really nice folks.

A pic for those who haven't been to your blog-

Very cool, keep up the good work!

Murphy is a nice place. We are outside Murphy near the TN border.

Thanks for posting a few photos. I'll post more as we keep moving forward.

I am excited to see sunshine this morning - lots of bus work to do today.

That seems like an interesting platform to build on. That sucks to hear about the seller. I don't think I could ever buy something without seeing it first. The sellers I bought from said they'd "never seen someone be so thorough" when I was checking it out. Should look pretty good when you're done though! Welcome
