New guy from Katy TX

Hi! I’m still looking for a bus as of now. Have a couple I’m looking at. And while I’m at it some place to park/ work on it.
Enjoying this website there’s a lot of good information
I’m a 37 yo fireman, married with 2 kids.
We used to have a travel trailer and love camping but started to love Skoolies once I started looking into them.

Hi Badbus.. I am new here as of yesterday, from Austin TX. No bus yet either, just entered my pre-pre-pre planning phase. Hope to pick a bus up by end of year or first quarter 2019. Working on my logistics. Hope you find what you are looking for!

Brian

Welcome fellow Texan. I'm new myself, but I do have my bus. Not converted yet, but we're slowly working on it. I'm on the other end of Houston from you though, down by NASA. Plenty of Texas buses at Rene Bates Auctiins, LSO Auctions, and Lemons Auctions. Of course there's govdeals and publicsurplus as well. Happy hunting!

Welcome! Always good to see another Tejano on board. I'm in Houston. The suburb East of Katy.

Hey thanks! Yeah it’s slowly turning into a big city. Can’t tell where one ends and the other begins.
Is that your bus in the avatar? That’s awesome looking

Roger the area growth. But it's been like this all my life here. Never ending expansion in every direction. The Census folks said they believe Houston will be the largest city in the US geographically by about 2025.

Great.

And ya...that oldie is my project.

I forgot to mention, WELCOME, to our new Houston area friend.
AHHHH memories of some of those old Katy Tx. back roads. I can remember having barn dances and taking hayrides around that area, and seeing no more than 1 or 2 cars the whole evening. Now it's difficult to cross a street. Some call it progress.
