New here!

A quick little bit as to why I'm here and have been lurking for awhile. Due to some unfortunate or fortunate life circumstances that have completely changed my outlook on life, I have decided with my wife(she took some coaxing) that building a school bus into an RV is the way to go. It will allow us the freedom to take most of our money toward buying land and building an off grid home because quite frankly, I'm just not into the rat race, keeping up with Jones', or dealing with an increasingly messed up society up close anymore. I have better things to do with my time and my life. My wife and kids are what's important and I want to spend more time with them versus seeing my work family all the time. So my plan is to buy a bus, convert it into a home for 5 people, a cat and a dog, live in it while we pay off debt and build the earthship all while creating memories and experiences with my family and learning things along the way. Once we have built some freedom into our lives, we will take the kids and travel the country in said bus for 3 months and make it into a yearly thing where travel and explore. I only have 2.5 years to buy the bus and get it completed before my daughter graduated high school and goes off into her life so I'm not horribly rushed but I don't have a lot of time either. Anyway, that's a little about me and why I'm here. Thanks for all the experience i have seen while reading these posts and different ideas.

Also, just so you know, between pictures here and YouTube videos, my wife was able to see my vision for what a school bus could be, and I appreciate that!

I've been 100% Pony Party for a long time now. Their merging with the Rent is Too Damn High party was a very smart tactical move!
