New member Russ and Carrie

Hi! My husband Russ decided he wanted a Skoolie. I (Carrie) looked at several buses and bought one from local school district a week ago. 2003 Bluebird about 38 foot long. Yanked seats out, replaced batteries, took off signals, painted, got insurance, weighed it, and now trying to get the title worked out with MI Secretary of State in Lapeer. We have been reading posts on here like crazy! Greeting to all other bus nuts!

Welcome! You're making quick progress! What color did you paint it?
Do you have any pictures?

Yes white reflective roof, black around windows, ocean blue body. Attempting to post picture! For some reason, my bus is upside down!

Too funny! The bus is right side up in the driveway, and today we installed a sleeper sofa with seatbelts, an old heavy oriental carpet, and a rear storage wall to keep camping supplies from flying around. So provided I can get a license plate on my fourth try at my local frienly DMV, we are going to take the bus tomorrow on a trip to da UP for several days!

Hi, welcome! I think you two are addicted already. Great progress and nice paint scheme. I have been thinking about the same colours and now seeing yours, I can't really copy it. back to the drawing board...

Feel free to copy! Just call it inspiration. I saw a similar bus on internet, but the blue was more turquoise, but I could not figure out where or whose bus it was. So we were inspired to paint similarly.
