New Owner

Hello All....

I just bought a 1997 Thomas Activites Bus.

I will be using it to transport Rescue Dogs Coast to Coast.....

I hope to get some Useful Info off this group as I learn my new Machine...

I bought this Bus For its Attributes....

8.3 Cummins Mechanical,
5 sp. Auto With Overdrive Allison
Tall Roof Line
Tinted Windows Front to rear
Under vehicle Storage
Low miles at 140k
Geared for Hwy Use
already been gutted of most seats.

I will be building it into a transport vehicle, as well as Part time RV....
So things Will be Modular and Removable...

Chat soon, Input Welcome.....

I'm a dog lover so I welcome the cause.

Looking forward to pics.

Sounds like a terrific find for any use. That said, happy to hear about your mobile rescue service. All but one of my dogs were from rescue shelters or literally found on the street.

Good on ya!

And welcome.

Awesome cause!
My 2 (non-masculine) poodles were rescue dogs from 2005 and I'd fight you over them!
They were my sole company throughout a 5 year divorce, in a 32' travel trailer.
You can say all you want about my momma, and I'd probably just agree with ya.... just don't mess with my dogs!

Shelby & Goldie know my life's story and they don't judge me.

Hello and congrats on getting the bus!

I'm right on the other side of the Cascades in Bend working on a bus too. I look forward to following along to your build if you post any, and perhaps you'll let me stop by and check out your bus once you start putting it together. I'll bring the beer!
