New Soon-to-Be Bus Owner in San Antonio

Hello All,

I've been lurking on this site for a few years, gathering ideas. Well, I'm finally about ready to pull the trigger on a bus. I work offshore for a few months at a time but then I'm home for a few months at a time, so I have one more work trip before I start trying to find my bus. I'm starting to sort out the initial details (where will I be able to work on it, how do I register it, what are my bus criteria, etc.) and figured it was about time I try to connect to any other Skoolies in my area. If anyone is around San Antonio and doing a bus project I would love to trade some of my time/labor for some of your experience. Anyway, I love this site and am looking forward to being more involved in the conversations.

I'm not that far away. I'm in Katy. I'll be happy to help and swap help. There are good deals coming from here in Texas as well as other areas of the country, so keep an open mind on your search. Read up on all the threads. Many questions will be answered by looking at what we've done and the mistakes we've made.
