New to group

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this group. My wife and I are retired and have been full timers for the last six years (conventional RV). Recently we have decided that we would like to do a little more "wilderness" camping which would require something more purpose built than a conventional RV. This has led us to the idea of a skoolie (my wife says we already have skoolie in our blood...our first motorhome was a Bluebird Wanderlodge).

Our thoughts are to build something that is about 22-24 ft in length and be fully self contained. Additionally we have thoughts of using this rig to travel to Alaska. We have a facility to work (airplane hangar) and pretty good tools. We are fairly resourceful and would greatly welcome ANY thoughts and ideas!
