New to the Skoolie world

Hello Everyone!

Me and my boyfriend want nothing more than to join this community of gypsies living life to the fullest!

We are located in South Florida and are very new to the skoolie world. If anyone has any tips or tricks for getting started and getting on the road it would be so much appreciated!

Also if anyone has/knows anyone in Florida that has an already converted skoolie for sale we are very interested!

Thank you in advance!

Sending Love & Light,

Greetings and Welcome!

Best advice I can give is to know what you want out of the bus and how and were you plan to live out of it. RV parks normally don't like skoolie's, you are best on bet is state and gov run campgrounds BLS land etc of your own land. Make sure you have a solid plan in place for were to park the bus and a place to do the conversion. Buy lots of tools and hang around here read and read and then read some more and then post lots of photos.

There are quite a few SKOOLIE members on here in and all over areas of Florida and they have a couple of meet ups a year.
East coast CB in east is,fl is the bus auction king in my book and might actually have a shortie for sale.
Search for the Florida skoolies thread and start there.
I would use the new Google bar at the top of the page and use SKOOLIE.net Florida skoolies.
Good luck

I've sold both my buses, but I can keep my eyes open if you let me know what size bus you're looking for.
We have a few get-togethers out here, next time you're welcome to come check out folks' buses and eat some chili.
