Took the plunge today went from lurker to member and bought my short bus. I have been looking here and wanting a bus for awhile. Unlike most here I need the wheelchair lift in my bus, I can only walk a few feet at a time and use a power wheelchair. My bus will be back-up for my van and puller for my teardrop camper. I think most of the gear for camping will live in the bus and/or camper so going will be simple. My bus has 4 seats now and I think I will cut that down to 2 and make a table/bed like I have seen other do here. Can't wait to get started.

Re: Newbie

You are right unlike most. I too gave up the little space to keep the lift for my friend to use. I use a tri-fold ramp on the e350 van as that way it is out of the way when I don't need it. I also use a longer tri-fold ramp on the truck. Those tri-fold ramps for wheelchairs can be used to push a riding john deer lawn mower up in to the bed.
