Newbie planning an outdoor traveling paradise

Hello all!

My name is Eric and I have been a member since January checking out threads here and there and trying to develop my knowledge in the world of the skoolie!

I don't have a bus yet but my goal is to buy a shorty in a years time and then work on it for a year (hopefully less) to get it road worthy and liveable to allow myself to travel north and south america!

I am an avid rock climber, mountain biker, and snowboarder so trying to make sure I have room for it all so I can embark on an epic journey. Hoping to try and make the bus as renewable as possible but first things first for sure!

Looking forward to learning from everyone on this site and starting my journey!

Hello Eric

So you've caught our bus disease. Nice timing too. You've easily got a year to wait for the right bus.

Sounds like a pretty great trip too.

Thanks @Robin97396 and @skoo! Definitely caught the bug and am very excited.

Right now just trying to decide on the best model shorty to get! Will be doing some reading but if there are any suggestions I would love the advice!

Good shorties seem to be the popular choice right now. Avoid the Ford cutaways.
