Newbie-School Bus RV to Pull BBQ Trailer

Hi from Georgia,

My husband and I played around with the school bus RV conversion idea 20 years ago, but life went by without acting. Now, with my husband taking early retirement in 14 months we started a BBQ Concession Business. We purchased a 22 ft pull behind concession trailer and needed a vehicle to pull it to the festivals and fairs, but we also needed a place to sleep….Thus our school bus purchase and the conversion begins!

We have a 20-acre farm in South Georgia that we have slowly emptied out the house, selling off or getting rid of all our possessions to sell the house, and live full-time in our bus.

The process has been an adventure and we haven’t even left our driveway.

Welcome jocliett

Nice retirement plan. That paring down process can be kind of tough.
