Nomad Nurse

Hello all and thanks for welcoming me!

I am a travel RN with a dream of living in a skoolie. And so I officially begin the research process.

My goal is to start a build summer of 2021. Forgive me if I ask questions that seem common sense...learning as I go.

If you are travel nurse - please consider reaching out to me! Kindred spirits and all.

Welcome to the asylum!
Tho I'm guessing your speciality isn't in psychiatric nursing, since your handle clearly asserts,
No-Mad Nurse...

In my experience, one needn't be a polygamist to have one wife too many... [emoji41]
(No offense to our hostess...)

two wives, but not at the same time - wives and girlfriends tend to say, 'it's the dogs or me' - lol

I'm actually thinking of going to nursing school so I can become a traveling RN and have a place to live in my skoolie ... and as a side benefit get into a career that can't (maybe) be replaced with AI.

Or maybe just live in old people's houses. My aunt pays someone $900 a week just to sleep in her house overnight (so there's somebody there in case of a medical emergency), and I'm not sure if that person has any particular health care qualifications at all.

Nursing is a high stress job. Not sure I'd want to, or be able to, handle it. God Bless those that choose that career path. They earn every penny!

Kindred Spirit

I am a travel nurse. Tired of paying rent to others. My husband and I have been kicking around the idea of a motorhome vs 5th wheel. Found out about School Bus conversion and fell in love with the idea. Also starting the research and starting to formulate a plan. Looking at buses next week. The massive you tube video watching has let me know for sure what I don't want
