Oregon to Oklahoma

Hi ya'll! We purchased 1950 Gillig two years ago that had been converted years ago to a motorhome. Found it in Salem Oregon and bought it and drove it 1900 miles to Oklahoma over a 4 day period without a hitch, if you don't count getting hung up in the median of an interstate in Washington and having to get a tow truck to get out. But that is a whole other story! Anyway the old beast motored right along at 60 mph the whole way. I look back and realize that our angels were watching over us because it could have been a disaster if we had had any kind of major trouble. We are now getting ready to update the interior and the exterior but first we had to build a place to store it and work on it so that has taken most of our time until now. Really enjoy reading others posts about their experience with the conversion process. Looking forward to posting about our progress. Til then
