Proud Owner Of Roll Another One
This morning I bought my first skoolie bus from my buddy Charlie!
We went to Rural King and I purchased brand new batteries. I am fully aware of the jb weld situation and plan to use it as is for a while. When the time comes I have my buddy Mike who is a diesel mechanic go through it at that point. For now I am looking at getting a set of tires for the rear. My hope is is to have this ready around the tail end of camping season.
We will post pictures once we get it started. Every one is awesome in here and we look forward to being apart of the group! We have exciting future plans for this shorty to travel and go everywhere and are very pleased with our purchase as we originally picked it up from Texas.

welcome aboard shaun!!!!! are you going to JB weld the Coolant leak? if so, be sure to rough up the area and drain down the coolant so that area is nice and dry.. then clean the area around the leak with BrakLeen then dawn liquid and water and get it good and dry and grease free... I sealed a tranny leak with it back in the day when I was young and broke..

Not yet will do if I can actually find the leak and see where it’s coming from. I have yet to find and the expansion tank still has some water in it . I would like to find out the correct type of coolant and do a flush once we locate the leak and see it for my self.

Red EL coolant.
Its currently cot the blue Cummins coolant like we were talking about.
International recommends red Texaco EL coolant.
https://www.bulktransporter.com/truc...d-life-coolant
But there are tons of red EL coolants that will work just fine.
