Replacing the top flashing lights

Does anyone have any creative ideas on what to fill the top flashing light holes with. I just took them off and need something creative to fill the holes with. I am thinking of putting small vinyl records(33s) in the holes and then sealing it off from leaks but i want some creative input

Make patches from sheet metal. Either screw, rivet or glue on with construction adhesive.
