Roll Your Own Homegrown

Greetings I've always loved the book Roll Your Own, Homegrown is alright by me!
I have a 1967 Chevy Thomas 6 window Conversion that I helped design and lived in for 2 years during college at Appalachian State NC. Sugar Magnolia is still part of the family 20 years later.
Now Im in Vermont and the time as come I have the opportunity to buy a GMC 4x4 Shortie, I did! I'm really excited. I know the extra length of a full size may make living a bit easier on the room scale, however I'm super excited to have bought this "Cool Bus", and can get in off road spaces!
I'll be doing the conversions myself and am hopeful for any ideas or picture shares you have. I'd like to have a back deck and stairway to heavens roost fir star gazing, if you have any ideas please share!
On Golden Roads,
~A~

Nice thread title.

It IS a great book though. It was the "skoolie.net" of its day. I keep a copy on the coffee table. Why I named my build thread "roll your own".

Please post pics when you can! Is your bus in the book?
I'll bet you have some COOOOOL stories!!!
