Smile She's finally here!

Newbie! Dreaming of having my own little camper for years and the process has now begun. She arrived yesterday, a sweet 1993 Thomas built 4 window shortie. If I can pass my husband's driving test then he will let me keep her and I will get started with all that needs done. I am a hardworking 62 yr old adventurous Nana that is so excited I could just squeal! Glad to know the forum is here as I will have lots of questions I'm sure!

Your post made me smile. I can feel how excited you are about your new project!

If you find driving it challenging, just remember that with determination and practice, there's nothing you can't do!

Welcome! yay!

If you can drive, you can drive that. A friend and i were just at a church admiring their shorties. Super cool! Sometimes when i am walking from the rear of this 35ft bus, to the front... well i have time to ponder what an easily parked shorty might be like heheheh

How exciting!
I'm a 60-yr-old non-nana dreaming of a bus. Every bus I see starts the voices in my head to debating the advantage of this one over the last one that went by.

Looking forward to seeing the pics of your new bus!

Thanks to everyone for the welcoming posts and encouragement! My driving test is Saturday so wish me luck, LOL! We have taken most all the seats out but had to leave one up front for my husband to sit in for my road test. Hopefully I will come back on Saturday with a passing grade and a clearance to begin the rest of the story.

Well I DID IT!!!, I passed my husband's driving test... almost stopped a couple of times and let him out to catch another bus...LOL! but decided to let him stay on MY BUS. It was great, I really enjoyed it and I didn't take out any mailboxes or hit anything! So it's now official, "Nana's Nest" will begin her transformation! Will keep you posted with my progress. First thing on the list is replacing the leaking emergency roof hatch with an RV Super Fan.
