I am a big fan of the 6.2 diesel. They price is still a little higher than I would be looking for but they look nice. Ask for more photos!

I'm a little leary of the Tennessee buses with super low mileage. What's the problems with them that they weren't driven leaving them with absurdly low mileage?

Question everything, then take your chances.
The TN shorties were part of the head start program. They were used VERY little. They're primo, man.
I'm planning on buying one, hoping for two.

I noticed all those baby seats. That kind of seat sells well to people with young children. They are even quite popular on ebay.

I looked up the buses you're bidding on yesterday. That multiple bidding is how I ended up with three army deuce and a halves.

I've already got em SOLD when they get here. But its too early in the auction to get any kind of excited. They may go for a pretty penny.

You'd better save a couple of those baby seats for your own later use. It sounds like your life, relationship and family wise, is about to start getting more expensive.

Me? naw man we aren't into having kids. We're into our buses and mopeds too much to mess with any of that!

No, your wife will rule your destiny. Two or three years into a marriage they take charge. Women have been known to change their minds occasionally, especially when they start getting concerned about their maternal clock.

We can have a breeders vs non-breeders thread if you'd like. I'm 37, never even had a pregnancy scare with any girl in my life.
Some of us have enough self control to abstain from reproducing like rabbits.

I mean if you REALLY wanna hear what I think, we can go there. I'm REALLY holding back to not offend you folks with children. lets just leave it be and talk about buses.

You've got to devour them while they're young and tender. Crockpot material.

Sorry Rhonda. Can we talk about your favorite bus choice? I know it's still multiple choice at this point.

This isn't your bus, but I'm finding it amazing that fleabay is pretty much full of F-450s, and the prices are outrageous. No wonder people feel the dealer prices aren't that bad.

Back to Buses

At this point I am feeling good about the Tennessee buses. It seems most people prefer the diesel engines, but for my first bus and a weekender at that, i'm thinking the low milage and likely reliability of the engine make it a good option.

I haven't found any other buses on Craigslist worth seeing, but continue to look for a possible hidden gem pop up.

I'd say if the prices stay reasonable, these TN mini's will be great.
I know I want one! So does my boss.
We took his kids and their neighborhood friends for a ride in McShortface. They were super excited. Apparently they all go to a church/private school and don't get to ride on school buses. I think my boss' kids may have actually had their first ever actual school bus ride!
It was really cool, I couldn't help but SMILE!

Question Buses

Alright everyone,

I have found a couple of buses a little more local to me(at least West Coast). Let me know any thoughts, concerns, likes, goods/bads.

Thanks
