if your bus is less than 26k GVWR and less than 15 seats you very well may be able to get a VC type title..

I've licensed buses both ways. The MH plates cost more but the insurance was cheaper. Compared to standard i.e. van plates and regular insurance. The annual total cost of license and insurance on both vehicles differed by $6. That was only my experience.
