The Coffee Skoolie!!!

Good morning Skoolies!

Always did love Robin Williams...

As the author of this post, cherrycoffeebus, I just wanted to say hello! I also want to say thank you to the many contributors on this forum that made my job of picking out and repairing a great used bus very simple.

I ended up purchasing a 1996 International 3800 with just a hair over 100K miles on it. It's got the T444E with a 4-speed tranny (or maybe its a 5-speed that won't shift into 5th ) I purchased the bus for just 1000 and have gotten to work on gutting the interior down to bare shell. My dream is to convert this bus into a place to live, as well as a fully functioning coffee "shop". I know the challenges ahead are many but with this many great skoolie-lovin' people behind me, I feel confident!

Amarillo

Hi! I just joined this group because my husband just bought us an International 3800. He is north of Amarillo and I am in the process of moving down there too (from Oregon).
Do you have the dimensions on your bus? How many windows do you have? Ours is a 6 window and from reading here it sounds like I should have 15 feet of usable space to work with. He just bought it in an online auction in Kansas, so our first step will be getting it home.
I look forward to seeing your progress.
