Hey guys, a short introduction on myself....My name is Caleb, I am 33 years old and currently reside in southern Indiana, I am married, I have 4 children, and two fur kids(cats).

I was a welder by trade but since switched to be a stay at home dad and the wife got to follow her dream of being in graphic design.

I do not have my bus at this moment, but plan to buy one before next summer. I have a pretty good what I want in a bus, just building up the budget at the moment.

Hopefully at some time in the future, I'll get to meet some of you guys. Until then, drive safe and keep the rubber on the road...or off the road....safely.

What kind of welding did you do?
It doesnt really matter by just having experience in the skill will go along ways with your conversion.
I tried steam fitting pipe welding once? for about 25 years now.

Thanks! I was a mig welder at Toyota, welded overhead guards for the x700 and x800 forklifts. I developed some respiratory issues, so I put the torch down. But you're right, that skill be useful for the roof raise I will want to do.

Thank you! Already found this website to be full of valuable information, it has helped me decide what bus we want. We're aiming to get our bus in the spring, already sold our carport and next thing on the list is to tear down our one car garage l.

Thank you....yea, not totally sure how that will work out as I. Not near too many skoolies I think. If there were close to me, yea I could lend a hand.
