Ultra Newbie

Hello everybody, Kevin from Kansas City Mo. Here. I have a bus lined up to purchase on 4/15/19. I am a former auto mechanic, former semi-truck driver, former enlisted Marine with a23 y/o Marine son, that is a Sgt in marsoc/ special forces operator. My daughter is 26 with 3 children. First off let me say what an amazing trip it’s been. Life,it’s joys and struggles. Never a dull moment. I am embarking on a new lifestyle. I look fwd to learning and growing and I think Skoolie.net is going to be a great resource. Also looking to make some new friends on here. To say that I have no FEAR would be foolish indeed but, with your help I will become more informed and confident to master this craft of living FREE.

Vets are especially welcome here!!!

Thank you both ( and this is coming from a former Squid! )

Don't know what your plans are, but if they involve some kind of school bus...you came to the right place. While your background puts you well ahead of many of us...don't hesitate to ask questions. Some pretty savvy & helpful folks here.

Once again...

Welcome!

Well thank you for thanking my son and myself. By the way, there are no squids. SAILORS. Lol. One thing nowadays kinda different ( bugs me a bit). This thanking people for their service.. I mean I get it. Yada yada..in my day that didn't happen. Seems Soo un- JOHN WAYNE. I AM PROUD of America. And mostly proud for anyone brave enough to stand on the TRUTH.. Once you deviate from Truth, what are you? Well it's just simple. That person can be described as a "Devient". Gosh my philosophical sounds like what my son described as GRUMPY OLD MAN baahhhaa. Seniality coming up next. Lol. Yeah anyway. Just looking to get a good bus. Make friends and most of all enjoy a little Adventure. Dang Tango you got 8,500 posts. Geez you must be older than me
