We Bought a Bus!

So pretty excited! Just purchased a 1997 Amtran International 3800 for $2400 through The Austin, Texas Independent School District! It's got a brand new $800 Drivers seat, 220,000 miles, and brand new tires!

I got myself a gated field behind a car lot to store it and work on it for $100 a month including electricity. Picking it up tomorrow and I can't wait to get started!

How am I doing so far? Good deals on the land/bus? Any words of wisdom from the community would be greatly appreciated!

Michael

Terrible! Those seats are murder on your back. It will probably put you in the hospital with only a couple hours of driving. Besides, you can't really call your bus a skoolie with one installed in your bus. I will come by this weekend with a REAL school bus seat. I will even help you install it and take the other seat to the dump for you so you can spend time in your new skoolie seat.

Congrats.
