Smile We bought A Chevy Kodiak 5500 School Bus Yesterday

My husband and I purchased a bus and are excited to see what you all have done... for inspiration... as we prepare to gut and convert ours!

We built a Tiny House in 2017 and lived off grid in it for a year and half. We made the decision that it was too big for us and sold it 2 weeks ago and bought our bus yesterday!

We are renting a cabin for the winter and hope to have the bus liveable by May 1

Looking forward to connecting...

Welcome Guys! Your tiny house building experience should come in very handy putting a bus house together.

That's the first time I heard "lived in a tiny house, but it was too big."

Kodiak 5500? Pics? Details? Google search: looks like it's a heavy duty shuttle bus!

We hope so... at the very least we should have a good idea on how to use the space effieciently.

We are going from about 240 sq ft to 130... in the bus.

Thanks,
MaLee

I put some videos up on my youtube channel MaLee Muse, but you can also see them on the OMSkooler.com website I just started... trying to make a project management board to keep the conversion organized!

But here is a peek... of the day we bought her...
