What have I gotten myself into? E-450 transit

Hi
I have ravenously consumed heaps of content here on Skoolie.net since discovering it a couple of weeks ago.
I have recently taken the plunge and purchased a
2002 Ford diesel E-450
24' airport transit bus ' 119,400 km
The discussions regarding insurance woes were true to form. Securing insurance to move vehicle from point of sale to my driveway has been a three week fiasco that has yet to be resolved.
Meanwhile I have designed and redesigned the interior based on the collective experiences here...Thank you.

Nice bus!

That's going to be interesting having the doors more towards the middle of the body then located all the way up front. I could see it do some interesting things to the placement of the bathroom, but I bet it will be much easier for the co-pilots seat at the front without the doors/stairs in the way there.

Agreed that the set back on the doors will provide a more hospitable co-pilot arrangement...though it does rather bisect the interior...still pondering the layout.

fun to follow

From what little you have said, this is going to be a fun project watch unfold. I have a vision of the door way trimmed out to look like the Tardis. Then you walk in and say, "It's bigger on the inside!"
