Been a member for a long time. Finally put a deposit on one myself. 95 Thomas Saf-t-liner, with 5.9L. 36' foot long. Low roof, I'm thinking. It was a little more than I wanted to fork out right off. 4k. Seats will be out and it will be rv titled when I pick it up, so that's something. I'm just going through the threads again about removing the floors and side panels for insulation. Collecting my tools and buying stuff already. My son, daughter and I will be doing this one from the ground up. Thanks for all the great threads and tips along the way! Let the madness begin!!!

Nice bus.

I'm beginning to really appreciate the way Thomas put their buses together.

Price was a little high, but in the scheme of things that will soon be forgotten.

Yeah I know the price was high. This guy is known for price gouging, from what I've read. But he has a ton of invaluable experience, he services buses in the surrounding counties and he spent like five hours with me that day. In the grand scheme of things he probably is taking advantage price wise. But, he is local to me and he'll be there if I need a mechanic as well. So even though I avoided him for years I finally decided it was worth it in the end.

He's not overpriced if he does you right!!! Sounds like the kinda bus shop I'd deal with if I could

$4K with the seats out and already titled as an RV sounds like a really good price to me for a bus of that vintage with those sort of spe'c's.

Is that 4k for the bus or 4k for the deposit?
