1909 Bus

I found this picture while trying to find something else.

What I'm really trying to identify is what kind of truck/fire truck this is.I have a friend who sells fire trucks and she really liked this picture.
The picture was taken in LaPorte, Indiana. The building was built in 1907. The only info is that it is the towns first fire engine.
No idea if the building or the fire engine came first. Anyone have any ideas? Note that it is not electric, it has a crank. Solid tires were used
on trucks much longer that on cars. I've been pouring over everything I can find on old trucks/fire equipment

Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Dick

Re: 1909 Bus

Don't know if this was ever a bus, but it seems to be an RV. There seems to be at least 2 doors on this side. Notice where the radiator is. I'll bet it was a real joy to
work on, and things back then needed a lot of that done.
