I have the chance to purchase a 1995 International 3800? 25 passenger? Shorty. 7.3 ltr PowerStroke Navistar? with Allison transmission. I am adding the VIN so the experts can see what it is for sure. VIN 1HVBBABMXSH623603. The bus has 145K miles and runs but has not been registered since 2005. The body is good the glass is all good it is nice condition. It will need rubber before inspection. It has a wheelchair lift (functional) just behind the main door. The owner is asking mid 3K. Now I have wanted a bus since the 60s but never followed through. My questions are does this sound like a good price for this particular bus. Is there anything I should shy away from. I can think of 100 uses for the chair lift. Don't hold back on this tell me what you think

Front lift doors are nice for moving in stuff such as chairs and couches. And with a lift left in it, it also serves as a retractable patio. Tires can cost a lot with the bigger size of them so it may be a good idea to price them before any kind of offer is made. If it has been sitting for 5 to 6 years you maybe able to low ball offer on it.
