the bed is 6 feet wide by 8 feet long. its actually larger then most full size trucks because there is no wheel wells.

have you ever heard of the 69-72 chevy and gmc that was called the longhorn? some came with ether a 396 or a 402 big block chevy, but all the 402 is is a factory .030 over 396. the 396 was 69 and the 402 was 70-72 and 73 and up you all should know what bbc came in the trucks, 454. but back to the longhorn, it had a 9' bed and looked just like any other truck just and 1 more foot in the bed, kinda a early camper special but in 72 it was dropped along with a lot of other parts on those trucks like the rear coils and trailing arms. the beast is a long bed with the 8' bed, so it is the same. yeah you might have no wheel wells bu i i'll have 4' in beteen my wheel wells.

Some of the longhorns came with a longer bumper as well... They were set up for a an 11.5' camper...

Camo, I'm actually building the 203/205 doubler you're talking about for my Blazer... It's going behind my t400... I'll post up pics of some of the progress...
