Aluminum checker plate

I'm thinking of using aluminum checker plate on the out side of my bus. Is there any issues with replacing the galvanized skin or covering over?
Thanks for your input
Gordon

Aluminum touching steel will cause galvanic corrosion.
Steel diamond plate is even cheaper, though.

Yes, thanks for the info. I had just planned on putting aluminum diamond plating on top of the floor once I Corrosealed it. I'll spend a bit more and get stainless steel or roll out some soundproof (Dynamat) type stuff first.
