Anyone recognize this winch???

Look at this old winch I got. It's got a real low gear reduction and a ton of cable. I'm gonna use it on a trailer. I'm curious about it's origin. there's no manufacture name on it, but each piece has a part number on it. All bolts have safety wire holes. Military maybe? Anyone ever seen one of these?

Well....Braden supplied many of the winches to the military, but there are many many more manufacturers out there. Is it just a hand winch or are you hiding the PTO or hydraulic input?
