B700 Brakes

I just purchased a 1992 Blue Bird bodied Ford B700 to use in a quick conversion to live in when I move to California next month. Does anyone have any information on the braking system? Or could someone point me in the right direction? I'm assuming that because its a school bus and has an electric emergency hydraulic pump that its different from the other commercial B700 chassis. I may be wrong.

Thanks.

Re: B700 Brakes

Please tell more information. Tell type of engine, type of trans, air or hydraulic brakes and mechanical park brake. Get to know your bus. The place that sold bus to you will know all the details. Does your bus have a master cylinder? Does the engine have an air compressor? Gas or diesel engine? Frank

Re: B700 Brakes

Its a 6.6L Turbo Diesel/5spd Hydraulic brakes/Hydraulic parking brakes that. It has a master cylinder with a little electric motor hanging off of it. No air compressor. I bought it from a private seller who bought it at auction and didn't know much about it other than maintnance. Just wondering if the parts are school bus specific. Thanks.
