Hmm...similar to "aircraft bod"?
Skydrol is a hydraulic fluid replacement used on large aircraft. It is acid based, and more fire resistant than 5606 hydraulic fluid, manufactured by everybody's favorite company, Monsanto.
Won't dissolve your clothes like battery acid, but it does burn your skin pretty good. If you've ever done any hydraulic work, you know you are going to get it everywhere. (Hint: some skin areas are more susceptible to burning than others).
Then there is sealant. Used everywhere in pressurized aircraft. Most "environmentally kind" solvents are not real effective at removing it. Will take days to wear off of your hands. (Notice black stains on hands and fingernails above).
Minor abrasions from trying to fit your hands where they don't fit. 'Nuf said?
My personal millstone is the parallel scabs and scars on top of my head from ducking under a wing, and finding that some SO_ lowered the leading edge slats again!
