California Dealers, and/or good websites

I live in the SF bay area California and am looking to get a bus withen the next few months.
I found a few sites like California bus sales but most of the dealers with websites are out of my price range.
Also I will only be spending a few thousand on a bus. so it doesnt make sense to spend another few thousand in gas driving it from southern california or nevada.
My only requirements are that it runs and doesnt have a lot of rust. And that it is a short bus.
imsure you know what comes next
If anybody knows where I can go to get a bus let me know.

Call local school districts and see when they will be auctioning off old buses. Most dealers markup buses a whole lot.
