Child check

The unintentional anti- theft device. I found an little device in the back of my skoolie as i was ripping out and gutting it. I saw a little press button device that said child care and had a stop button. I pulled that bad boy without a second glance as it was clamp connected. turns out the bus will start but will sound all kinds of alarms if you pull the keys. I am guessing it is to prevent a child being left in a bus. However, if someone chooses to steal my skoolie they will not be able to park it anywhere without it being immediately noticed as the horn goes off every 3 seconds. its as easy as placing the connection back into place to arm it and it is protected by a lock and key. learning new stuff everyday about my bus

so the device will scream if you drive your bus, shut it off and exit the bus without first pressing the button in the back first?

requiring that the driver wouldve had to walk the bus completely before ending their day?

Yeap, but if you pull the circuit breaker out it is not armed. I found out the hard way about this feature lol. Horn blaring ftw/ftl
