Cool old bus

I saw a cool old bus today and was wondering if anyone could help me identify what kind it is. It's in poor shape but would have been interesting to see back in the day when it was still on the road.

Wow. After just lamenting with Tango over the lack of ancient buses to restore, along comes this beauty.

Is it available for sale?

Where is it located?

What is it?

Jack

Stick a decent sized Cummins and 3000 series Allison, and it'd be a runner

looks like a project for a restoration show on tv.
The one that restored the GM Futurama bus.

This bus is located in Pasco Washington on a BNSF "dead" line. It is not for sale. It is there with many railroad passenger cars, caboose, old steam engines, speeders, etc...
None of it is for sale, all a part of someone's collection. Too bad because it is all just sitting there rusting into the ground.

Looks like it's been sitting there long enough to find in Google Maps and Earth? Got a location/address to use to look?

Well the last cash offer that was refused was $60,000 so I think they plan on keeping it till it becomes a pile of dust.

So many people seem to think they will live forever.
Then when their family sells off what they have been sitting on for decades, the stuff sells for pennies.

I'm off to check this one out in the AM------

I don't know if this was one but they did use the big bodied 1947 Dodges and DeSotos as school buses back in the day.

If someone knows how to get the following to show up here I'd appreciate it. Jack
