dayton wheel spacers

I have a 1986 International S1600 with 9x20's right now. I just picked up a set of 8.25"x22.5 rims and will be mounting 11Rx22.5's. My question is, will I need different size spacers for the rear duals? If so, what size and where can I get some. I am also looking for a good source for tires in the San Diego area.

Tires

Only look for tires after the wheels are in hand. Places I have looked for wheels and tires are tire dealers, any bus companies, Craig's list and truck salvage places. A pick a part was selling 5 poke wheels for $35 each with tires. Frank

Re: dayton wheel spacers

No answers? I know many of you have done the swap from 20" to 22.5". Did you re-use the spacers or did you need a different size?

Re: dayton wheel spacers

the spacers you have fit the hubs that are on the bus, the real question is, do the wheels that you just bought have the right offset to mount the tires you want and still have clearance tire to tire and to the wheelwells and body?

S1600 Int. dayton tubeless wheels

Putting 22.5 wheels on 1986 International, you will find wheels will hit tie rod end on front axle I spaced spider out 1/2 inch on mine

were your 22.5 rims tubeless or did you still have to use a tube to go to radial tires

22.5's are single piece and use no tube and use standard truck tires.. 10R22.5 or if your rim is wide enough you can use 11R22.5.

i thought i had found some used a while back but the man over the phone told me that they were 22.5 tubed daytons and i am trying to get away from the tubes.
and he also said that i could buy boots that glue in the rim to cover the valve stem slot with a stem in to swap a tubed tire to a tubeless tire.
my local medium duty tire just said NO? I dont know if they just didnt want to mess with or not but i do vaguely recall my dad having some kind off boots put in his tractor tires but i think that was for punctures and not changing from tubed to tubeless
