Diesel Shops/Mechanics

So I figured if a big motor/tranny swap was conceivable in the future I would start searching out a place or mechanic to do so. I went to the only local place I knew ( Expert Diesel) and found that they had moved to a bigger location 1/4 mile away. Stopped in to talk to them only to be told they are no longer taking in any new work. They are moving towards just towing of big rigs. Had an ad on CL looking for a diesel mechanic with no replies. Seems good diesel shops are getting fewer and far between. I'll keep up my search. Most of the swap I could do myself, but I'm just getting older and not as excited to do heavy manual labor.
