Found this, thought I'd share.
Found this old Jeep on the net. Thought you would like to see what others are doing.
Thanks for looking,

Re: Found this, thought I'd share.
I tried using the Turban trick like Johny Carson, but I still wasn't able to read your thoughts. By the name and how it looks, I'd say its a Jeep somethin'.
Go figure. ?
Thanks for your comment,

I think the word is used for that type of vehicle. I believe it started with the jeeps left by the US when they closed their bases.

Re: Found this, thought I'd share.
It's actually not what I thought it was. *whew* Thank heavens, I'da freaked my lid iffen it was. What I thought it might've been is one of the three Studebakers that a certain nasty German with a funny mustache rode around in.
But then, my visual-memory sucks something awful.
SHINY lookin' Jeepney, though. I have a friend that lives in the Philippines, I'll have to see if I can reach her so she can look around and snag me some photos.

Was it? Well, whatever they were, they were certainly more beautiful vehicles than what we have now.
Why do our cars and trucks nowadays look like boxes?

They put the new prototype into a wind tunnel. And shape it so there is as little wind resistance as possible. I believe that's why most of the vehicles look like they are from the same designers. MPG rules now. Ha Ha
